Cheese burst chicken burger

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 250 g Chicken mince (Double minced)
  2. 2 chopped onions
  3. 1 egg
  4. 1 tsp garlic powder
  5. 2 tsp smoked paprika powder
  6. to taste salt
  7. 1 head lettuce (preferably cabbage lettuce)
  8. slices Cheese
  9. Burger Buns

Method

    In a bowl add mince meat, chopp ed onions, black pepper, paprika, salt, oregano and one egg and mix all the ingredients

    Then take small potions and make small balls of the mixture and place on a plastic film

    Now flatten the mixture balls with hand and put grated cheese or cheese blend sauce right in the middle of the pressed chicken.(I would recommend you to use grated cheddar and mozarella cheese instead of cheese blend sauce)

    Now place the other flattened piece of chicken mince over the filling and bind both flattened pieces from the border in order to bind them and make a pattie

    Now in a pan add little oil n roast the patty in the pan (preferably a griddle pan) on slow fire. After roasting it from both sides, cover the pan and cook for 5 mins...it will help to retain the moisture and make the patty juicy and succulent

    After cooking it completely drain oil and keep aside the patty to rest.

    The cheese burst chicken burger patty will look somewhat like this when you cut it open.

    Now take a roasted sesame seed bun and baste it with mayonnaise on the inner side of both the buns...place the burger patty in the bun and top it up with some coleslaw, lettuce, onions and tomato...Enjoy
