Ingredients

  1. Pakwan
  2. 1 cup all purpose flour
  3. 1 pinch cumin seeds
  4. to taste Salt
  5. 2 tbsp oil
  6. As needed Oil for frying
  7. Dal.
  8. 1 cup chana dal
  9. 1/4 cup moong dhuli dal
  10. 1 tomato chopped
  11. 2 green chilli chopped
  12. 1 small piece of ginger chopped
  13. as needed Coriander leaves chopped
  14. to taste Salt
  15. 1 tsp chilli powder
  16. 1/4 tsp haldi powder
  17. 1/4 tsp dhaniya powder
  18. 1/4 tsp amchur powder / lemon juice
  19. 1/4 tsp garam masala
  20. 2 tbsp ghee
  21. pinch Hing,
  22. 1/2 tsp jeera,
  23. 1/2 tsp rai

Cooking Instructions

    Pakwan........Take a bowl.add all purpose flour, cumin seeds,salt and 2 tbsp oil.mix well.

    Make a soft dough with adding water and keep aside for 30 min.

    Now make Pakwan like u make thin chapati / poori shape.

  4. 4

    Prick the chapati with folk.

    Heat enough oil in a pan.Deep fry in hot oil until golden and crispy in a medium flame

  6. 6

    Dal.............Soak chana and moong dal for 1/2 an hour

  7. 7

    Add salt and haldi powder and pressure cook for 2 -3 whistle.

    Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan.Add cumin seeds to crackle.

    Add chopped tomato, ginger or green chilli and saute for 2 min.add all masale and mix well.Cook 2 min.

    Add in boiled dal.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
