Cucumbers and onions

Mom said you can have this cucumber if you want to make cucumbers and onions. What do you think ? Was this a HINT ! ?
Ingredients

1 cucumber

1 medium yellow onion

1/2 cup sugar in the raw - this is just a preference of mine

1 cup apple cider vinegar
-
1/2 tsp pickling spice

1/4 +tsp of celery seeds

1 tbsp lemon juice
Cooking Instructions

I used a mandoline because it will slice very thin and quickly on the onions and cucumbers.

In a small stainless mixing bowl add sugar and vinegar heat on low to dissolve the sugar.

In a larger bowl add vinegar mixture to cucumbers and onions. Add pickling spice, celery seeds and lemon juice stir and refrigerate for at least two hours
