  1. 1 Eggplant / Aubergine big
  2. 1small sized Onion minced
  3. 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  4. 1/2-1 teaspoon Black Pepper powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoon Roasted White Sesame Seeds
  6. 1 tablespoon Melted Butter (not hot or warm)
  7. 3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  8. 1/4 teaspoon Baking powder
  9. 3 tablespoons Curd
  10. as needed Buttermilk if required instead of water

  1. In a bowl take 100 grams whole wheat flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt.
    Add 3/4 teaspoon baking soda.
    Add 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
    Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon black pepper powder.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon roasted white sesame seeds.

  2. Take 1 big Aubergine. Remove and discard the skin. Grate the Aubergine and add in a bowl.
    Add minced 1 small onion.
    Add 3 tablespoons yogurt. Mix into a smooth thick stiff batter. Add melted butter 1 tablespoon.

  3. Preheat the cooker / oven for 14 minutes. Bake the cake for 30 minutes in low to medium heat.
    Grease the tin before baking. Check with a toothpick whether the cake is baked perfectly. Savory Cake is ready. Serve warm.
