Ingredients

15 mins
2 bowls
  1. 2 cups water
  2. 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
  3. 1 pinch white pepper
  4. 2 stalks fresh chives
  5. 1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
  6. 2 teaspoon water (optional)
  7. 2 eggs

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Bring water and bouillon to boil to make broth

  2. 2

Chop chives and whisk eggs while broth comes to boil

  3. 3

Add soy sauce & white pepper to broth

  4. 4

If you like your egg drop soup thicker, make a slurry by whisking corn starch into a tiny bit o’ water, then add to soup

  5. 5

Slowly stir in whisked eggs and reduce heat, let simmer until eggs are cooked to preference

  6. 6

Move to bowls and add chives

  7. 7

DONESKIES! Snap a photo & show us how it turned out!

  8. 8

Not hungover? Try adding chopped mushrooms, and water chestnuts to kick it up a notch
