Sunday’s are always more special to cook something new and different. I love trying new recipes and chicken has always been used more than any-other meat at home . My family loves chicken and their are few recipes goes really well made with chicken and tastes absolutely delicious as it’s rich in protein what better way to celebrate that by making some good food 😊

Ingredients

  1. For meat ball
  2. 500 gm Minced chicken
  3. 1 Medium onion chopped
  4. Few strands coriander leaves
  5. 1 tsp Garam Masala
  6. 1 tsp Cumin powder
  7. 1/2 Tsp Turmeric powder
  8. 1/2 Lemon juice
  9. 1/2 tsp Sumac (optional)
  10. Gravy / Curry
  11. 1 big onion sliced(for purée)
  12. 1 Medium onion
  13. 6/7 Cashew
  14. 1 big tomato puree
  15. 3 Dry red Chilli (soaked in water)
  16. 1/2 tsp Turmeric
  17. 1 tsp Chilli powder (Normal)
  18. 1 tsp Coriander
  19. 1 tsp Cumin powder
  20. 1 tsp Garam Masala
  21. to taste Salt
  22. 1 Cup water

Cooking Instructions

    Make the chicken ball : In a big bowl add the minced chicken to that add finely chopped onion,green chilli,coriander leaves,ginger garlic paste and all dry ingredients listed below that and mix really well and keep in fridge to set. Add half lemon and sumac if you have (optional)

    For the gravy : Heat ghee in pan add one big onion sliced and sauté till light brown and remove from pan. Add cashew in same pan and fry till light brown and remove.

    Once the Onion is cool down add in blender along with cashew and red chilli and make a smooth purée and keep aside.

    Remove the mince from fridge and make them into ball and keep ready. Heat ghee in same pan add these balls and fry for just few minutes and remove.

    In same pan add one onion sliced sauté for while add ginger garlic and cook till raw smell goes. Then add the onion paste cook for while till oil separate and then add all dry ingredients and cook for while and then add the tomato purée. Cook till raw taste goes and oil separate. Then add water according to the consistency and cook don’t add too much water also.

    Then add cream and kasuri methi and cook for while. Then add the meat ball and add little water and close and cook for while till done.
