If you are planning to have a party at home, chirashi-sushi is something I definitely recommend. It's easy to make, healthy, and goes well with any kind of alcohol. I like to pair it with sparkling wine. Try it and you will love it!!

Ingredients

15 mins
2 servings
  1. 360 ml hot cooked rice
  2. 3 tbsp vinegar (sushi vinegar preferable)
  3. 100 g smoked salmon (cut into small pieces)
  4. 2 inari-skins (cut into small pieces)
  5. 2 tbsp sesame
  6. dry seaweed (cut into small pieces)
  7. leek or shiso (minced)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put cooked rice into a large bowl. If you don't have a Japanese sushi bowl, wooden salad bowl will work just fine.

  2. 2

Mix vinegar with the rice in a cutting motion. Fanning will remove extra moisture and the rice will start to shine.

  3. 3

Mix up salmon and inari skins.

  4. 4

Sprinkle sesame, dry seaweed, and some leek.
