Auntie’s Sautéed Mushrooms

Minimal ingredients. Maximum shroomage. Make it at your next bbq.
Ingredients

2 packages white button mushrooms; whole

1 tbsp butter

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

2 tsp garlic powder

1 tbsp soy sauce
Cooking Instructions

Cut your mushrooms into 1/4” slices. (Or any thickness you like). Set aside.

In a med saucepan over med high heat, melt the butter.

Toss in your sliced mushrooms.

Add the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Fold over the cooked mushrooms to the top; repeat as necessary. Keep the pan uncovered.

You’ll see a lot of liquid released from the mushrooms. This is GOLD.

Cook to desired doneness. Enjoy! Don’t cook it for too long, they start shrinking!
