Chunky Pecan Bars

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  2. 1/2 cup Firmly packed brown sugar
  3. 1/2 cup Butter
  4. 3 large Eggs
  5. 3/4 cup Sugar
  6. 3/4 cup Dark corn syrup
  7. 2 tbsp Melted butter
  8. 1 tsp Vanilla
  9. 1 3/4 cup Semisweet chocolate chunks
  10. 1 1/2 cup Chopped pecans

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F

    Spray a 13x9" baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.

    In a small bowl, combine flour and sugar.

    Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.

    Press into prepared pan.

    Bake for 15 minutes.

    In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, sugar, syrup, melted butter and vanilla.

    Stir in chocolate and pecans.

    Pour over crust.

    Bake for 25 minutes.

    Let cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack.

    Cut into bars.

    Store in the refrigerator.
