Ingredients

  1. 1 cup moong dal soaked for 2 hours
  2. 3/4 tsp ginger paste
  3. 3/4 tsp salt
  4. 1 green chillli chopped
  5. 2 tbsp chopped coriander
  6. For the paneer stuffing:
  7. 2 tbsp oil
  8. 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  9. 2 green chillies finely chopped
  10. 1/2 cup finely chopped red,yellow and green bell pepper
  11. 1/2 tsp salt
  12. 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
  13. 100 gms paneer

Cooking Instructions

    Drain water from the soaked moong dal and put it in the mixer.Grind it coarsely along with 1 chopped chilli,ginger and salt.Transfer the dal paste into a bowl and keep aside.

    To prepare the pancakes heat oil in a pan.Take a ladle full of the prepared dal mixture and spread evenly on the pan in a round shape.Cook both sides until golden brown in colour.Remove from the heat. Continue the same process for all the other pancakes.

    Take one pancake at a time and fill it with the prepared paneer and veggies mixture. Serve hot with any kind of chutney.

    For the stuffing add 2 tsp oil in a pan.Add 1/2 tsp ginger paste,1 chopped green chilli and saute for a while.Now add finely chopped red, yellow,green bell pepper and salt and saute for 2 minutes. Once the veggies are cooked turn off the heat.Add the chopped coriander.Now grate paneer and mix with the prepared veggies. Stuffing is ready.
