Caterpillar pie recipe II🍽
I baked this pie with my daughter a day before sallah😋 & we had it on the day of Eid!

Sift flour into a bowl, add salt, baking powder, butter & egg then add in little water to make a dough. Knead for 5 minutes until every thing is well incorporated & when you press a finger into the dough it goes back to its original shape.

Then cover the dough & allow to rest for some minutes, before you finish making the filling. For the filling shred your cooked chicken add in grinded scotch pepper, red bell pepper & the sliced onions add into a pot on heat add the oil & fry add in the seasoning to your taste, I.e salt, maggi, curry & thyme.

Stir every thing well until a filling is formed then off heat & remove from heat & go back to your dough cut it into 8 pieces or more or less depending on how you want it then roll each piece add in the filling use knife to make line/ cuts at the end of the dough then roll & close the filling & use water to pinch the edges so it wont wrap apart.

Repeat the process with the remaining dough arrange in a baking tray lined with paper or baking paper pre-heat your oven before time. Bake until golden brown & dough turns into pie that is properly baked not raw then remove from oven, serve with hot tea or cold drink & enjoy😋😋😋
