Paneer Chilli Gravy is a perfect Indo Chinese gravy dish, that tastes delicious and is highly popular among local people. Easy to prepare and full of flavor and zing. It is a perfect go to dish when you want to eat something spicy and do not want to chop too much and requires very little time. Paneer cubes , shallow fried and then added to the gravy gives the dish an unique flavour. It is definitely a family favourite and whenever the menu is Indo Chinese, I definitely make it . This spicy gravy goes so well with any Indo Chinese Rice or Noodles.
Ingredients

200 gram paneer pieces

1/4 cup corn flour

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp black pepper powder
-
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder

as per taste Salt

as per requirement Water

3 tbsp oil

🎯 For Gravy :--
-
2 tbsp oil
-
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
-
2 tsp finely chopped ginger
-
2 no finely chopped green chilli
-
1 no. Big size chopped green capsicum into square cut

2 no medium size squre chopped onion
-
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
-
2 tsp red chilli sauce
-
2 tbsp tomato sauce
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp vinegar
-
1 tsp sugar
-
as required Salt as per taste

2 tbsp corn flour
-
2 cup water
-
4 tbsp finely chopped spring onion

Cooking Instructions

First wash onion and capsicum and cut into square pieces. Cut the paneer into square or rectangular pieces as per your choice.

Now add corn flour, all-purpose flour, black pepper powder, red chilli powder, salt and water in a bowl and make a paste.

Now add paneer pieces to this paste and make a coating. Now heat oil in a non-stick pan and arrange the paneer pieces and deep fry until golden brown on both sides. Do not add too many pieces of paneer to the pan at once. Fry the paneer shells little by little.

Now in the same pan add 2 table spoons of oil and add chopped ginger, chopped garlic and chopped green chillies and saute till the garlic turns light brown in color. Then add onion and capsicum to this and cook for 2 minutes on high flame of gas.

Now add black pepper powder, chili sauce, tomato sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and salt to it and mix everything well and stir. Now add the corn flour to 2 cups of water to make a paste and add it to the onion and capsicum. Now cook this gravy on high flame of gas till the gravy becomes thick.

Now add the fried paneer pieces and mix everything well. Heat the curd for two minutes, add green onions and turn off the gas.

Now our Paneer Chili is ready to serve. Serve this Paneer Chili hot and garnish with green onion slices on top. Serve this hot paneer chili with noodles or fried rice.
