Homemade Rotis or Chapatis with 2 different flours thereby making Breakfast a full fledged healthy affair. Soft and supple. These are absolutely light. These just melt in mouth. With a texture as light as a feather, these are perfect for any day.
Ghee or Oil can be used for roasting them to perfection.
Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner, it's absolutely flavourful each time you make them. Healthy and wholesome. These are amazing for any day especially the Lunchbox too. It's a great option for everyday meals.
Any dry Sabzi or a Stir Fry can be a perfect accompaniment to these lovely looking Rotis.
Homemade and pure. They are a way lot better than eating unhygienic outside food. Homemade is always a best choice. I have also added Kalonji or Black Seeds to the dough prior to it's preparation making it super healthy.

Ingredients

25-30 minutes
6-7 servings
  1. 1 cup Stoneground flour blend
  2. 1 tsp Salt or to taste
  3. 1 tsp Black Seeds or Kalonji
  4. 2 tsp Oil
  5. as needed Lukewarm water
  6. as needed Oil or Ghee for roasting

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Knead a smooth dough adding all the ingredients to a mixing bowl except the last one. Set aside for a couple of minutes. Use water as required. If it is lukewarm it's well and good. Lukewarm water helps in making the chapatis soft and supple.

  2. 2

Heat a tawa or a griddle. In the meantime, divide the dough into balls of equal size either medium or small.

  3. 3

Roll and roast them using oil or ghee as desired. Roast them well on both the sides pressing a little with a clean kitchen towel. Fluffy super soft rotis are done easily in just a few minutes. Serve hot with any side dish for a healthy breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Homemaker by choice and a passionate cook by heart. An aspiring cook who actually never knew anything about Cooking until i became a mother myself. With Motherhood came the responsibilities as well and this was the turning point in my life. I started to learn the ABC's of cooking, taking help from my mother and my MIL. And time just flew. I spread my wings higher and higher. With my love for excellence and innovation, i stepped into a world of homecooks with my exposure to Cookpad one fine day on the social media. And there was no looking back since then and i have not only shared recipes here on this wonderful platform but also have made some lovely friends as well. Today iam successful because of my hard work, dedication and loads of good wishes of my family and my kids in particular.
