3 Potato

1 Tomato

200 g Poha

2 tsp Sugar

Salt as per taste

1 Lemon

2 tsp Red chilli powder

Half tsp Turmeric powder

leaves Neem

Half tsp mixed Mustard seeds and cumin seeds

3 tsp Oil

Half tsp hing
-
1 inch ginger
-
1 1/2 glass water for steam
Cooking Instructions

Chop the potato in small square pieces and also Chop tomatoes and green chilli, grate ginger
Now take big pan put oil, mixture of cumin seeds and mustard seeds, neem leaves
Than add chopped potatoes, tomatoes, green chilli,gratted ginger, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, sugar -

Put this potato for steam
Close the pan with big plate or add water on it
Give Steam till potato becomes soften -

Now wash poha
Take poha in a strainer
Rinse the poha in clean running water twice or thrice
Allow it to soften and keep aside for 5 minutes. -

After totally cooked potatoes squeeze lemon and add softened poha in it

Batata poha is ready Garnish well with coriander leaves and yellow sev also (ratlam spice sev)
