Ingredients

  1. For the Stuffing : 👇
  2. 1/2 cup boiled & crushed corn
  3. 1 cup grated paneer
  4. 2 tsp oil
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. 1 tsp garlic, finely chopped
  7. 1 tsp ginger - green chilli paste
  8. 1 tsp dry mango powder (amchur)
  9. 1 tsp garam masala
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 2 tbsp processed cheese, grated
  12. For the potato mixture : 👇
  13. 3 cups boiled & grated potatoes
  14. 1/ 2 cup bread crumbs
  15. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Other Ingredients : 👇
  18. Oil for deep frying

Cooking Instructions

    For the Stuffing : Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add cumin seeds. When the seeds splutter add garlic, ginger- green chilli paste & saute for a minute. Add boiled & coarsely crushed corn.Mix very well so all the spices & corn are incorporated very well.

    Add dried mango powder & garam masala. Cook for a minute. Switch off the gas. Add paneer & cheese.Mix well. Keep aside.

    For the potato mixture : Combine everything in a deep bowl.Mix everything & keep aside.

    Divide the stuffing into 10 equal portions.

    Divide the potato mixture into 10 equal portions.

    Take a portion of potato mixture & flatten it with your hands. Place a portion of the stuffing in the centre & bring the edges in the centre & seal the stuffing & roll it into an oval shape.

    Repeat to make all Croquettes.

    Heat oil in a pan & deep fry a few Croquettes at a time. Drain on kitchen paper.

    Serve immediately with tomato ketchup.
