Poha & Potato Cutlet is a crispy, vegan snack made of poha (flattened rice), potatoes, and flavored with spices. These poha & Potato cutlets can be served fried, baked or air fried along with some ketchup or used as filling for wraps and Burgers. These are delicious!!

Ingredients

25 minutes
4 servings
  1. 4 boiled potatoes
  2. 1/2 bowl poha
  3. 1/4 bowl peanuts
  4. 2 tb spoon bread crumbs
  5. 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  6. 1 Onion
  7. 2 green chilli
  8. 2 tb spoon chopped coriander leaves
  9. 1 tb spoon lemon juice
  10. to taste Salt
  11. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  12. 1/2 tsp coriander seeds powder
  13. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  14. 2 tb spoon cooking oil for frying
  15. Chutney of your choice

Cooking Instructions

    Grate boiled potatoes.

    Wash poha in a colander and keep aside for 15 minutes to drain all water.

  3. 3

    Dry roast peanuts. Remove its skin. Transfer to a mixer and grind to a powder.

    Mix all the masala ingredients, mashed potatoes, grinded peanut powder and ginger garlic paste and lemon juice in it.

    Add bread crumbs and poha and mix and make a dough.

    Now divide it in 8 parts. Make balls and press like tikkis.

    Heat cooking oil in a wok. Deep fry cutlets fry on non-stick wok till crispy.

    Serve hot with sauce or chutney.
