Ingredients

  1. 500 g Boiled suran (yam)
  2. 1 tsp aamchur powder
  3. 3 tsp rosted peanut powder
  4. 3 tsp chilli ginger pasta
  5. 1 tsp jeera & black pepper powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. As required sugar
  8. leaves Coriander
  9. As required bread crumbs
  10. Serving for tikki ketchup and onion rings

Cooking Instructions

    First apply oil on palm. Peel and cut the suran in medium pieces. Wash nicely and boil the suran for 2 whistles.

    Now in the mashed yam.add all ingredients and mix well. Mix to from a tikki mixture not to hard and not too soft.

    Make medium tikki and shallow fry on low heat.

    Now your delicious Elephant yam tikki (petties)is ready to serve with ketchup and onion rings.
