Heat 2 teaspoons of oil, add channa daal, urad daal, red chillies, curry leaves, coriander leaves and saute for 2minutes. In a separate bowl, cook beetroot by adding enough water (beetroot should be soft). Allow it to cool.
Grind the beetroot and fried items in a blender / mixer. Heat 2 teaspoons of oil; saute mustard, urad daal, curry leaves and add in ground beetroot. Serve with dosa, idly and rice.
