1 cup Raisin
4 cups boiling water
1 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla essense

Cooking Instructions

Chop dates

Pour in a jug of boiling water add your raised and add bicarbonate of soda

Beat sugar and butter and then add eggs keep on beating until fluffy

Add vanilla essence

Add flour and baking powder and cocoa

Then pour your jug mixture and mix

Dough must not be smooth

Leave in the oven 30-45 minutes
