Vegetables Masala khichdi

Kids doesn't like vegetables. So give them healthy khichdi. You can make it in dinner. It is full of veggies, rice & Dal.
Ingredients

1/2 cup rice

1/2 cup chopped carrots

1/2 cup chopped cabbage

1/4 cup chopped French beans

1/4 cup peas (mutter)

1 chopped onion
-
2 tomatoes
-
1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)

2 green chillies finely chopped
-
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
-
1/2 tsp hing (asfoetida)

to taste Salt

2 tsp ghee
Cooking Instructions

Wash rice & Dal. Soak it for 15 minutes. Meanwhile chopped all veggies.

Heat ghee in pressure cooker. Add Jeera & hing. Saute until brown. Add chopped onions, tomatoes & all vegetables. Saute for 1-2 minutes. Add rice & Dal. Add all spices. Stir all.

Cover the lid. Cook it on medium flame until 1 whistle. Switch off gas. Once steam released open the lid.

Serve hot with curd & papad.
