Ingredients

  1. fried rice
  2. 1 cup Basmati rice
  3. 1/2 piece Ginger chopped finely
  4. 2 cloves Garlic
  5. 2 tbsp Spring onion chopped
  6. 1 small Onion chopped
  7. 2 cups Carrot,beans and cabbage chopped
  8. 3/4 tbsp Soya sauce
  9. 3/4 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  10. 3/4 tsp Pepper powder
  11. Oil
  12. Manchurian Balls
  13. 1 cup Cabbage chopped
  14. 3/4 cup Carrot grated
  15. 1/4 cup Beans chopped finely
  16. 1 Onion chopped
  17. 1-2 Green chilies chopped-
  18. 1/2 "piece Ginger chopped finely
  19. 1 clove Garlic chopped finely
  20. 1/2 tsp Soya sauce
  21. 2 tbsp Cornflour
  22. 2 tbsp maida
  23. 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  24. salt
  25. oil
  26. For the sauce
  27. 1 tsp Ginger chopped
  28. 1 tsp Garlic chopped
  29. 1 Green chilies chopped-
  30. 1 Onion chopped
  31. 3 tbsp Spring onion chopped
  32. 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  33. 1/2 tbsp Soya sauce
  34. 1/2 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  35. 1 tbsp Cornflour
  36. Water
  37. Oil
  38. Salt(to taste)

Cooking Instructions

    Cook rice and keep aside.Heat oil in a pan add chopped ginger and garlic and saute till raw smell leaves.Now add the spring onion and chopped onion, saute for few minutes.Add chopped vegetables and saute till it is just done.(do not over cook)Now add the soya sauce, tomato sauce, pepper powder and salt to taste, mix well.Add the cooked rice and mix carefully until combined.Cook for a few minutes and switch off the stove.

    Take a large bowl add chopped cabbage,carrot,beans, onion and salt squeeze out excess water from the veggies.Mix the vegetables with the rest of the ingredients for the manchurian balls until combined.Make small balls out of this mixture(if you cant shape the mixture into balls add more cornflour)Deep fry the balls in hot oil till it turns golden brown.Keep aside.

    Now for the sauce,heat oil in a pan and add the chopped garlic,ginger and green chilies.saute till the raw smell goes.Now add chopped onion and spring onion and saute for a minute,add chopped bell pepper.Cook for few minutes.Add chilli powder and mix well.Add soya sauce,tomato ketchup,salt to taste and required amount of water,bring to a boil.Now mix cornflour with 1/4 cup water and add it to the sauce.Mix well.When the sauce thickens add the manchurian balls and switch off the gas.

    Serve hot Veg Fried Rice And Manchurian and kidoos will enjoy most.
