Ingredients

  1. For the crust
  2. 1 cup Maida
  3. 1 tbsp Ghee
  4. 1/2 cup or more Water
  5. Pinch salt
  6. For stuffing
  7. 2 Paan leaves
  8. 2 tbsp Gulkand
  9. 1 tbsp Dessicated coconut
  10. 1 tbsp Powedered nuts
  11. 1 tsp Elaichi powder
  12. 1/2 cup sugar
  13. For syrup
  14. 1/2 cup water

Cooking Instructions

    Make a stiff pliable dough.First add ghee in the flour,rub it properly till it makes a ball in hands when pressed.Now add water slowly slowly till a dough is ready.

    Keep it for half an hour for rest.

    Grind paan in mixture.Take it out add gulkand,dessicated coconut,powdered nuts.Mix well.

    Now take a small ball and roll it big size.

    Cut two pieces out of this spread.

    Make 5_ 6 cuts lengthwise in one poori leaving border as it is.

    Keep simple poori on cut poori and fill the stuffing and press it in Ghujia mould.

    Take it out and fry it on medium heat till Crisp.

    Dip in the syrup for sweetness.

    Designer betel and gulkand gujhia is ready to serve and eat too.
