Ingredients

  1. 250 gms okra (bhindi)
  2. 1 tbsp coriander (dhania) powder
  3. 1/2 chilli powder
  4. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  5. 1/2 tsp haldi
  6. 1/2 tsp saunf powder
  7. 1 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
  8. 1/2 tsp salt
  9. 1 tbsp oil

Cooking Instructions

    Slit the bhindis in between lengthwise after cutting both the ends, taking care not to split into 2.

    Combine the coriander powder,haldi,saunf powder, chilli powder, garam masala, dried mango powder and salt and mix well.

    Fill each slit bhindi with this masala and keep aside.

    Heat oil in a kadhai, add the bhindi and cover and cook on a slow flame, while turning in between.

    Serve hot with rotis and parathas.
