Muesli Flapjacks

Twice we went shopping and were asked to buy Granola for my husband - twice we picked up Nutty Muesli! 🤦🏼‍♀️ So...either I start eating muesli or I bake it into flapjacks! The flapjacks won 😃

Ingredients

20 mins
16 pieces
  1. 125 g butter
  2. 125 g soft dark brown sugar (or other sugar you have)
  3. 2 tbsp golden syrup
  4. 250 g muesli (I used a nutty one)
  5. 25 g mixed seeds (opt)

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oven to 180 C

  2. 2

    Line a square 8 inch tin

  3. 3

    Melt the butter, sugar and syrup together in a saucepan until lightly bubbling. Turn off the heat.

    Stir in the muesli.

  5. 5

    Tip into the lined tin.

  6. 6

    Bake for 15 mins.

  7. 7

    Cool in the tin.

  8. 8

    Lift out and cut once cooled.
