Bacon and bean soup
Delicious bacon and bean soup. Grill the bacon and put on top of the soup at the end.
Make in a low cooker on high for 4-5 hours low for 6-8
Thicken with thickening granules or cornflour.
Ingredients
2 celery stalks
1 leek
Can of canellini beans
Bacon
Beef/veg broth 2 cups
1 Onion
2 Carrot
2 cloves of garlic
Salt and pepper

Wash and chop all of the veg and put it all into your slow cooker.

Open your can of beans and put them in too with 2 cups of beef or veg broth/stock
Cover the veg with water. -

Cook on high for 4-5 hours low for 6-8 thicken with thickening granules or cornflour.

Grill your bacon and crumble on the top of the soup
Serve with crusty bread.
