Nankhatai Cookies
To all those who think why have a swastik. Its not to offend anyone. The swastika is a geometrical figure and an ancient religious icon from the cultures of Eurasia, where it has been and remains a symbol of divinity and spirituality in Indian religions and East Asian religions.
Ingredients

1/2 cup ghee

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 cup plain flour

2 tablespoon gram flour

2 tablespoon semolina
-
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder or any essence

Green and red food colour
Cooking Instructions

In a bowl add ghee and sugar and whisk until light and fluffy.
Sieve the baking powder, flour, gram flour and semolina thoroughly and add to the whisked ghee and sugar. -

Make small balls and refrigerate for 1/2 an hour.
Preheat oven at 180 degrees.
Design it with food colour.
Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until light golden colour. -
