You can use preserved lemon for so many dishes! When your life gives you many lemons, let's preserve them so that you can enjoy the scent of fresh lemons for long time ✨
Ingredients

Salt (20% of the quantity of lemons)

Lemon juice (additional)

Salt (additional, 20% of the quantity of lemon juice)
Cooking Instructions

Sterilize your jar by boiling.

Wash lemons with salt. If lemons are waxed, then peel. (I used non-waxed organic ones.

Cut lemons as you like.

Place one teaspoon of salt and pack lemons in a jar. Push them down to put all lemons in a jar.

On the top place all salt.

Seal the jar and shake it each day so that salt and the juice from lemons mix well.

A few days later if the juice of lemon was not enough to cover the lemon, add additional lemon juice and salt.

I personally use from day 3, but some say a week after or a month later. It's up to your preference. When I use, I rinse the lemon with running water, cut into small pieces and add into dressing for salad or add for grilled chicken instead of salt.
