Sarson da saag te missi Roti (Jain)

Ingredients

  1. 1 bunch bathua
  2. 1 bunch spinach (palak)
  3. 1 bunch Mustard Greens (sarson ki Bhaji)
  4. 2 TBS makai ka aata (no cornflour)
  5. 3 cups water
  6. Missi Roti:
  7. 1 cup wheat flour
  8. 2 cups gram flour (besan)
  9. 1 tea spoon fennel seeds (saunf)
  10. 1 tea spoon kasoori methi
  11. Water for kneading dough
  12. 1 TBS oil

    Sarson da saag:

    Chop all the three leafy vegetables.

    Boil 3 cups of water and add all the three leafy vegetables.

    Don't cover and cook

    Stair it with the spoon. After 10 min u will find that the veges are cooking nicely.

    Press it with spoon or smasher. Add 4 green chillies and cook for more 5 mins.

    Add makai ka aata and stair it for more 5 mins.

    Missi Roti:

    Add both the flour, salt,oil,spices and knead a dough. It should not be very loose. Now heat the pan and put a missi Roti on it. Take a fork and put the holes in it. Cook it both the side nicely on a medium heat.

    Take it out from the tava and apply butter on it. Serve hot with sarson da saag
