Palak mango dal

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cup toor dal
  2. 1/4 cup chana dal
  3. 2 cups chopped palak
  4. 4 slit green chillies
  5. 1 cup chopped onion
  6. 7 garlic pods crushed along with jeera
  7. pinch Turmeric powder
  8. to taste Salt
  9. 1 chopped sour mango
  10. 2 spoon oil
  11. 1/2 tsp mustard and jeera
  12. 1 spoon chilli powder

Cooking Instructions

    Cook turdal chanadal, onion, green chilies along with pinch of turmeric and one spoon oil

    Make tadka of oil with mustard jeera turmeric, add chopped mango, sauté for a while and add one cup of water

  3. 3

    When mango pieces are tender, add chopped palak and cook till done

  4. 4

    Add cooked dal, chilli powder and salt. Boil for three minutes and serve with rice or rotis
