Easy! Refreshing Japanese-Style Sandwich: Shiso and Egg

I got so many shiso leaves every day that I didn't know what to do with them!
So, I thought of this to use them up.

Nothing really, I just recommend eating it before the scent goes away. If you make it in advance, the flavor weakens, so enjoy it immediately. If you have time, try grating the leaves! Black pepper interferes with the scent of the shiso, so please don't use it. Recipe by Jikana

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 2 slice White bread (from an 8-slice loaf)
  2. 1 Margarine or butter
  3. 1 tiny amount Yuzu pepper or wasabi (to taste)
  4. 1 Boiled egg
  5. 7 Shiso leaves
  6. 1 tbsp ☆Mayonnaise
  7. 1 tsp ☆Sesame seeds
  8. 1 tsp ☆Soy sauce
  9. 1 pinch ☆Salt
  10. 1 pinch ☆Sugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Spread a margarine or butter and a small amount of yuzu pepper or wasabi on the bread. Put shiso leaves on two slices of the bread.

    Boil about 3 shiso leaves and mince the (boiled) egg. Mix together with the ☆ ingredients.

    Spread the mixture from Step 2 onto the bread from Step 1 until used completely up. Cut the sandwich into easy-to-eat slices and enjoy! If you don't like crusts, cut them off.
