Fudgy Heath bar brownies

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  2. 2 tbs vegetable oil
  3. 1 1/4 c white sugar
  4. 1 cup brown sugar
  5. 4 eggs, room temperature
  6. 1 tbs vanilla extract (not imitation)
  7. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  8. 1 cup good quality unsweetened cocoa powder
  9. 3/4 bag Heath bar chips

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease an 8x12-inch baking pan or cake pan with cooking oil spray, add a little flour. Optional: Line with parchment paper (or baking paper); set aside. Combine melted butter, oil and sugars together in a medium-sized bowl. Whisk well to combine. Add the eggs and vanilla; beat until lighter in color (another minute). Sift in flour & cocoa powder. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet, do not over beat.

    Fold in half of the chocolate pieces. Pour batter into the pan & lightly spread evenly. Top with remaining Heath bar pieces. Cook 30 min. If want more crispy brownies cook 35. Let cool before cutting.
