I used high-protein chicken tenders instead of the usual shrimp. My friends really like this.

You can wrap anything you like. You don't need the decoratively cut carrots. If you wrap the rolls quite tightly, they are less likely to fall apart. The sake and olive oil make the chicken very tender. Recipe by mini

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 Rice paper wrappers
  2. 1 Chicken tenders
  3. 1 Lettuce (or any other vegetables you like)
  4. 1 Carrot
  5. 1 tbsp Sake (or water)
  6. 1 tbsp Olive oil
  7. 1 dash Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Put the chicken tender on a plate, sprinkle on the sake, olive oil and salt and pepper, cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 1 to 2 minutes at 500 W.

  2. 2

Julienne the peppers into roughly 5 cm slices. Slice the carrot thinly and cut it out into decorative shapes, then microwave for 30 seconds at 500 W.

  3. 3

Moisten the rice paper wrappers quickly, and put on a cutting board. On top of the wrappers, line up the vegetables in a single horizontal line, line the chicken above this, and line the carrots below the vegetables.

  4. 4

Fold the top and bottom edges of the rice paper. Start rolling from the end with the vegetables so that you roll the carrots last, and they will show through the paper and look nice.
