Warming daikon and carrot soup

On friday I cook for children in need. I try to give them a healthy meal. And let them eat something different. This is what I came up with today.

Ingredients

  1. 2 daikon (white
  2. 2 small onions
  3. 1 tb cooking oil
  4. 1 chruched clove garlic
  5. 1.5 l stock (fresh or cubes)
  6. 1/2 tb thym,white pepper,rosemary
  7. 50 gr (1/4 tub) cream cheese with herbs
  8. Some green herb for garnish

Cooking Instructions

    Clean the veg

    Cut the veg into medium cubes

  3. 3

    Heat the oil and sweat the onion and the garlic

  4. 4

    Put in the carrots and the bouillon.

  5. 5

    Cook for 15 min

  6. 6

    Add the daikon

  7. 7

    Cook until veg are tender

  8. 8

    Add the cream cheese and mix the soup.

  9. 9

    Serve with a bit of cream cheese and herbs
