Tonjiru Japanese daikon pork soup

Ingredients

  1. 1/2 daikon
  2. 200 g pork belly
  3. 1 tbsp dashi powder with konbu flavour
  4. 2 tbsp miso paste
  5. 1 litre water
  6. 1 hard boiled egg
  7. 3 tbsp chopped ginger
  8. Olive oil for cooking

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Chop pork belly into 3-4 cm slices when frozen

  2. 2

    Fry chopped onion in olive oil till golden brown

  3. 3

    Add pork belly and ginger

  4. 4

    Add water with dashi and allow it to boil

  5. 5

    Add chopped daikon and press soup mode in pressure cooker

  6. 6

    Before serving, add tofu, miso and wakame
