Slow cooker applesauce kielbasa turkey sausage

So good over white rice with buttered seasoned corn on the side or it's the perfect party snack. It's not spicy or overly sweet just delicious.
Ingredients

3-4 (13 oz) packs) fully cooked turkey polska kielbasa sausage

1 (24 oz) jar applesauce
-
1 cup light brown sugar
-
6 cloves garlic minced
-
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Cooked rice (optional)
Cooking Instructions

Slice sausage into rounds and half if desired

In a slow cooker mix in everything but rice

Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours

Serve over rice if desired or as an appetizer with toothpicks.
