One Fry Pan Pasta Series #7. This recipe came to me when I saw the news about the Eastern Japan Great Earthquake and thought that maybe there was something I could do. I heard that the bread being distributed was cold, so I thought I could make a warm and delicious soup pasta to dip the bread in that also saves water and electricity.

You can use different ingredients. Broccoli or anything that get cooked through quickly and changes color easily should be added at Step 6. If you're worried about the bitter taste of the spinach, you can microwave it before adding it. The leftover soup is delicious and can be drunk as is! In my home, we tear up bread and soak it in the soup. For 1 serving. Recipe by Nekozame

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 Butter (tube butter is OK)
  2. 1 dash Grated garlic (tubed garlic is ok)
  3. 2 slice Half sliced bacon (or ham, sausage)
  4. 1/4 Onion
  5. 1/2 pack Shimeji mushrooms (or any other mushroom)
  6. 1/3 bundle Spinach (or broccoli)
  7. 250 ml ●Water
  8. 1 ●Consomme soup stock cube
  9. 100 grams ●Pasta
  10. 100 ml ☆Milk
  11. 30 grams ☆Your favorite cheese (pizza cheese, sliced cheese, etc)
  12. 1 Salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Finely chop the bacon, thinly slice the onion, cut off the root of the mushrooms, wash the spinach and neatly cut into 5 cm long pieces.

  2. 2

Heat some butter in a frying pan. Put in the garlic and when it becomes fragrant, add the bacon, onion, and shimeji. Lightly saute.

  3. 3

Add the water and the consomme cube, bring to a boil and add the cut in half pasta. While stirring the noodles so they don't stick, cook for 1 minute on medium heat.

  4. 4

Stop the heat and cover with a lid. Let steam for the same amount of time it takes to boil the noodles according to the package.

  5. 5

Remove the lid and untangle the noodles. (Differing from the other pasta dishes in the one frying pan pasta series, don't evaporate the water here).

  6. 6

Add the spinach and the ☆ ingredients and reheat on medium heat. Once the spinach has cooked through, it's finished. Make sure to stop the heat before the simmering causes the milk to form a film.

  7. 7

Add salt and pepper to taste and it's done.

  8. 8

Note: The oil from the butter and the bacon help to prevent the noodles from sticking. If you don't use these two, then add about 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil at Step 3.
