3.50 lb. peeled sweet potatoes

5 Tbsp. butter

3/4 c. maple syrup

2 tsp. brown sugar

2 cinnamon sticks

6 whole cloves

1 orange juice extract

1 orange cut in half’s slices
Cooking Instructions

In a small sauce pan, at low heat melt and combine the butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon sticks, and orange juice.
Preheat the oven at 425° F. -

Slice the sweet potatoes about ¾ inch thick. Place the potatoes in a buttered baking pan with the orange slices and pour on top the sauce.

Bake the sweet potatoes for about 40-50 minutes. Let them brown a bit. Do not overcook the sweet potatoes.

Once the sweet potatoes are cooked, serve immediately.
