I seen this in a magazine and didn't have all the stuff so I improvised.
Ingredients

4 cans black eyed peas

1 onion

1/4-1/2 cup Italian salad dressing
Cooking Instructions

Combined black eyed peas Bell pepper onion.

Add dressing salt and pepper to taste.

Chill at least 2 hours
