Ingredients

  1. I full onion
  2. 3 ripe tomatoes
  3. 3 cloves garlic
  4. 1 pinch salt
  5. 2 tablespoon cooking oil
  6. half a glass of fresh milk
  7. 1 cup full of fresh dried omena/dagaa

Cooking Instructions

    First you sort the dried omena to ensure it's clean before boiling.

    Put 2 cups of clean water in a sufuria then add,1 cup of omena to boil for 2 hrs in a jiko.

    After boiling you start adding the spices like onions till, then pounded garlic till it turns to light brown, then tomatoes after which the half cup of milk is added plus salt.

    Then add omena to steam for 20 to 30 mins on a low heat.

    It's now ready you can serve with ugali.
