Ingredients

  1. 1 cup all-purpose flour
  2. 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  3. 1/4 cup white sugar
  4. 1 tbsp. baking powder
  5. 1 cup heavy cream
  6. 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  7. 1/4 cup honey
  8. 2 eggs, lightly beaten

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees

    Lightly grease a 9x9 inch baking pan

    In a large bowl, stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar and baking powder

  4. 4

    Divide in half (making sort of a well in the middle) and add cream, oil, honey, and eggs

  5. 5

    Stir to combine the ingredients together

  6. 6

    Pour batter into prepared baking pan

  7. 7

    Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes

  8. 8

    Insert a toothpick into the center of the pan and if it comes out clean then your cornbread is ready but if not, cook for a few more minutes monitoring the toothpick as you insert it
