Ingredients

  1. 1 can (8 oz) oysters
  2. 2 cups milk
  3. 2 Tbsp butter

Cooking Instructions

    Simmer oysters and their liquid, until edges curl.....about 2 or 3 mins.

    Melt butter in milk. Simmer on low....be careful not to scorch the milk.

    Add oysters and liquid to milk/ butter mixture. Simmer on low, stirring often.

    What else can you ask for....3 ingredients and about 10 minutes.
    Seasoning as you like. I had baquetts with mine. You can always go with the trusty oyster crackers.

I'm making this right now...I had forgotten the recipe but its the same as what my husband used to make me.

Am an Army Vet who served as a cook for 8 years. Went to the Persian Gulf and spent 2 years in Seoul Korea. Have been a widow for 3 yrs, so don't really get to cook as much as I would like to.
