Ingredients

  1. 300 gr prawns, split the back and take out the dirt
  2. 1 tablespoon lime juice
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. Seasonings for the prawn:
  5. 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  6. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  7. 1 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  9. 100 gr cornstarch
  10. Salted Egg Yolk Sauce:
  11. 2 tablespoons butter
  12. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  13. 3 red chili, thinly sliced at an angle
  14. 4 green onions, chopped
  15. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  16. 1 dash white pepper powder
  17. 4 salted egg yolk, mash with a fork in a small bowl

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Mix the prawns with salt and lime juice. Set aside for 30 minutes. Wash and pat them with some paper towels to remove the excessive water.

  2. 2

Mix the prawns with lemon juice, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Set aside again for 15 minutes.

  3. 3

Coat evenly with cornstarch. Shake the excess flour off. Deep fry the prawns until crispy. Remove from the pan. Set aside.

  4. 4

Heat the butter. Sauté garlic and red chili until fragrant.

  5. 5

Add oyster sauce, white pepper powder, and green onions.

  6. 6

Add the salted egg yolk. Stir until well combined.

  7. 7

Add the fried shrimp. Stir to coat the prawns evenly. Remove from the heat. Serve with warm rice! 😋
