“Syrnyky” are fried quark pancakes, garnished with sour cream, jam, honey or apple sauce. The cheese mixture may contain raisins for extra flavor.

300 g cottage cheese
1 egg
2 tablespoon flour
to taste sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Mix all the ingredients. Beat in a blender until smooth, to make it easier to form balls.
