  4. 2 tsp Salt

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl thoroughly mix the yeast, salt, and flour. Then slowly pour and mix in the hot water.

  2. 2

Dough should be smooth and elastic and not stick to your fingers. If it is sticky then add more flour by very small bits.

  3. 3

Knead your dough with a dough hook or your hands for 10 minutes.

  4. 4

Place dough in a large bowl coated in oil. Coast the top of the dough with oil as well.

  5. 5

Cover and let the bread rise for 4 hours.

  6. 6

Place dough on a clean floured surface and roll out until about 8"x11" (the size of a sheet of paper). Cover and let rest for 10 minutes.

  7. 7

Oil the inside of a bread pian and roll up your dough. Place the dough in the pan seam side down. Again, coat the top in oil and cover. Let rise for 1-2 hours in a warm spot.

  8. 8

Preheat oven to 350F and bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Bread may not get really golden but 45 minutes has always been spot on for me.

  9. 9

If you like your bread softer them place it in a plastic bag or container after it cool just a little.
