Dark Chocolate Ganache

While this recipe is very similar, I do not add salt to my version. Additionally I made this using only a microwave as I do not have a stove at my workplace.This is the ganache that I used to frost the Death by Decadent Dark Chocolate Cake.



  1. 1 Cup dark chocolate chips
  2. 1 Cup heavy cream
  3. 2 Tablespoons Butter

    Add Photo

    Place dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for about 30 seconds, until hot. Keep an eye on the chocolate chips.

    Remove from microwave and add cream, stirring to melt the chocolate chips.

    Add butter. If necessary, microwave again for 15-second intervals until all ingredients are well-combined.

    Let cool. If necessary, chill in refrigerator.
