Dark Chocolate Ganache

While this recipe is very similar, I do not add salt to my version. Additionally I made this using only a microwave as I do not have a stove at my workplace.This is the ganache that I used to frost the Death by Decadent Dark Chocolate Cake.

Ingredients

  1. 1 Cup dark chocolate chips
  2. 1 Cup heavy cream
  3. 2 Tablespoons Butter

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Place dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for about 30 seconds, until hot. Keep an eye on the chocolate chips.

    Remove from microwave and add cream, stirring to melt the chocolate chips.

  3. 3

    Add butter. If necessary, microwave again for 15-second intervals until all ingredients are well-combined.

    Let cool. If necessary, chill in refrigerator.

i'm a fan of simple meals and orchestrating ingredients that play well together. on fridays i tend to bake desserts in the communal toaster oven at work. my coworkers don't mind it very much.
