Ingredients

20 minutes
3 people
  1. Octopus fry
  2. 1 Octopus leg 🐙
  3. 2 tbsp soy sauce
  4. 2 tbsp ☆ cooking sake
  5. 1 tsp ☆ ginger, grated
  6. 1 tsp ☆ garlic, minced
  7. 1/2 tsp ☆ dried green seaweed powder
  8. 2 TBSP potato starch
  9. 2 TBSP flour
  10. Bean sprouts sauté
  11. 1 bag bean sprouts (255g)
  12. Dash salt
  13. Dash pepper
  14. Dash bonito soup stock (hondashi)
  15. 1 tsp soy-sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Cut octopus into bite sized pieces.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients ☆ and add octopus. Let it sit for 10 minutes.

  3. 3

Add flour and mix well. Then add potato starch. This way, you can limit the possibility of an explosion of the oil. (it's a smart idea to hold the lid of a pan in front of your face to defend yourself 😂)

  4. 4

Cook it for 3 minutes and set it aside. 👍

  5. 5

Now it’s time for bean sprouts. In a large pan, high heat sauté the bean sprouts for 3 minutes.

  6. 6

Add salt, pepper, hondashi, soy sauce. Turn off the heat.

  7. 7

Add fried octopus and mix it together. Sprinkle more dried seaweed flakes (Aonori) at the end for flavor.
