Ingredients

  1. 3 cups noodles
  2. 1 tbsp olive oil
  3. 1.5 lbs ground beef
  4. 1 bell pepper, chopped
  5. 1 onion, chopped
  6. 3/4 cup carrots, chopped
  7. 1 tsp garlic
  8. 2 tsp salt
  9. 1/2 tsp pepper
  10. 15 oz can tomato sauce
  11. 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  12. 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  13. 1 tbsp brown sugar
  14. 2 cups shredded cheddar
  15. 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  16. Parsley (for garnish)

Cooking Instructions

    Heat oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add beef and cook until browned. Stir in bell pepper, onion, carrots, 1 tsp garlic, 2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp pepper and cook until peppers are tender.

    Stir in tomato sauce, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp dry mustard, and 1.5 cups water; stir to combine, bring to a simmer, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 5 minutes.

    Add to Pyrex container. Top with 1/2 cup bread crumbs. Then top with 2 cups cheese. Then top with parsley. Freeze

    Once ready to eat, thaw overnight. Preheat oven to 350°. Cook in 30 minute increments until temperature reads 165°.
