This is what was left of 5 dozen cookies. I truly have cookie monsters. I can never make these to take somewhere. They barely make it to the cooling rack.

Ingredients

Makes 6 dozen

1 cup shortening (part butter)
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup flour sifted
2 teaspoons cream of tarter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Mix shortening, sugar and eggs throughly.

Stir together flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt. Blend into the wet mixture.

Roll into 1” balls. Stir cinnamon and 2 tablespoons sugar together. Roll balls in sugar mixture. Place 2” apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes
