Colin's Buttery Roasted Peppercorn Squash
My 5 year old son decided to help me out today, so I named this dish after him.
Ingredients
Cooking Instructions
-
1
First pre heat your oven to 375 degrees. Next take your peppercorn squash and cut it in half, carefully.
-
2
Once this is done, clean out the seeds and guts of this fall veg.
-
3
Next, take a fork and make grooves into the squash so that all the spices and flavours can pierce the veg.
-
4
Once that is done take your butter, divide it between both halfs and rub it into the grooves.
-
5
Take your finely chopped garlic and place it evenly on both halfs. Season the squash with thyme, salt and pepper.
-
6
Place both halfs into your oven and roast them for 45 minutes.
-
7
Remove from oven, let cool for a couple of minutes then enjoy. Makes the perfect side to any fall dish.
