Cranberry Almond Slaw
Fit & Fresh cooking

After much experimentation with a basic Asian ramen slaw recipe, I finally tweaked and tinkered the original recipe into the “perfect” slaw recipe. It is a cheap healthy side that I make on a weekly basis. Goes great with bbq chicken or burgers!
Ingredients
-
1 head green cabbage sliced thinly
-
1 cup olive oil
-
1/2 cup white vinegar
-
1/4 cup turbinado sugar (doesn’t have to be turbinado but that’s what I like to use)
-
to taste Salt and pepper
-
About one teaspoon of chicken seasoning (optional)
-
3/4 cup sliced almonds
-
3/4 cup dried cranberries
Cooking Instructions
-
1
Thinly slice cabbage, set aside
-
2
Combine oil, vinegar, sugar, and seasonings and whisk until well combined (make sure sugar is dissolved)
-
3
Place cabbage in a large bowl, add dressing, and toss to coat well
-
4
Add in almonds and cranberries and mix well. Enjoy!!
